Piedras Blancas National Park is situated along the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Remote and relatively untouched, this is the place to go to view wildlife and primary tropical rainforest. Previously it was a part of the famous Corcovado National Park. Known as Las Esquinas, it was adjacent to two other protected areas-  the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve to the west and Golfito National Wildlife Refuge to the east.

The way to the Park:

For reaching the park, from the San Jose, you can take the Inter-american highway south through San Pedro and Cartago. After reaching San Isidro de El General, you will have to follow the sign toward Dominical and from there go to the Southern Highway to Palmar Norte. you will get back on the Inter american highway until Rio Claro. Then turn right to Golfito.
