Playa Selva Tree House Lodge

People who are seeking a place to enjoy a peaceful romantic vacation close to the beach as well as want to explore the wildlife from a close view, they can chose Playa Selva Tree House Lodge. Located in Mal Pais, this lodge is set up in a Banyan Tree at the private property with about 1.5 acres area, ‘Playa Selva’. While staying at this tree house in the tropical paradise guests will become a part of the jungle and will enjoy the real Costa Rica experience. Since Dec. 2004, Playa Selva Tree House has been available for rentals open for rental year round, with better rates from May through October, but always affordable. The tree house is amazing, provides everything guests need to have a relaxing vacation.

Facilities:

This tree house is featured with a bedroom with about approx. 400 sq. ft. total and equipped with comfortable standard double bed with mosquito net. This room is perfect for accommodating two but up to three person can sleep and for the additional person, a ‘murphy-like’ style bed with single mattress provided. It also include ceiling fan & portable fan. There is a kitchenette with coffee maker with complimentary Costa Rican Coffee, a small refrigerator, dishes & basic cooking utensils, sink, two-burner electric hotplate. There is a full separate bathroom with hot water facility, shower and also an outdoor shower, linens and bath towels also provided. With an additional charge one can get washer or dryer. There is a balcony featuring a sitting area where guests can enjoy some leisure time and enjoy the beautiful surroundings such as the guests can see and hear Howler and Capuchin Monkeys, a large variety of tropical birds, and other Costa Rican wildlife.

Outdoor Features:

On the property area, there is an amazing custom designed swimming pool. Outside the studio, there is a small balcony with a sitting area furnished with chairs and table where guests can enjoy some leisure time and watch amazing view of the surrounding jungle. People who love to play with waves means surfing, they will love to stay at this tree house as it is only 3 to 4 minute trail walk to reach a beautiful crowd free beach cove and good point break surf nearby at Mar Azul and this tree house provides surf board for rent also offers surf lesson. Playa Selva Tree House also offers many other activities including Yoga, Pilates and Dance classes, kite board lesson, horse back riding, hiking, swimming, fishing, massage therapy and many more. Cabo Blanco Absolute Nature Reserve, Curú Wildlife Refuge, Barra Honda and Montezuma Waterfalls are the main attractions of the tree house surrounding.
