History of Costa Rica Surf and SUP

Santa Teresa was a sleepy village and Costa Rica Surf and SUP was only a surf shop in 2001. When Costa Rica became a top notch tourist destination, Santa Teresa was one of the first towns to get an influx of tourists. In a very short period of time, the quiet town blossomed into a lively and vivacious place. Sport enthusiasts, nature lovers, surfers, backpackers, honeymooners and even photographers from all around the world began to visit the country. The owners of the surf camp, Cosmic Benny and Aussie Al, made a great decision to open up surf and SUP camp which turned to be very successful. Today, it is one of the most popular camps in the town.

Surfing and Other Activities

The staff of Costa Rica Surf and SUP comprises of extremely talented instructors. They are multilingual highly skilled surfers who also training in CPR, First Aid and life-guarding.
