Popo’s Treehouse Expeditions and Surf Camp offers surf trips to various surf breaks in Costa Rica as well as in Nicaragua. They have separate classes for newbies, intermediartes and seasoned surfers. Guests can choose either private one on one lesson or a group session with other students. Private classes are ideal for couples and veterans. The camp presents a number of packages which include includes surf classes, stand up paddling, accommodations at Popo’s Treehouse, several activities like kayaking, sportfishing, scuba diving along with a free T-shirts, and transportation.

Popo’s Treehouse Lodging

Popo’s Expedition features a gated treehouse for accommodations. The treehouse is large, rather charming and enveloped by verdurous scenery. It has two private cabins on a hillside and a spacious house. The accommodations are air conditioned and very comfortable. The house has 5 bedrooms, two single rooms, decks and three private bathrooms with various amenities. The cabins and the house feature elegant furnishings, lamps, a private bar, a fridge, a fully stocked kitchen area, hot water supply, hammocks strung between the trees and lovely views of the garden. Note: this is not really a treehouse! It’s on the ground, but elevated in such as way to give the feeling of a treehouse. Very nice but not exactly the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse many people expect from a treehouse.
