The resort itself is incredible with 28 natural hot springs, a water slide, a regular pool with a swim-up bar, large guest rooms with beautiful bathrooms.

Another highlight is the animal sanctuary, a facility where animals are brought to live and be protected for the rest of their lives. This sanctuary gives a home to ocelots, sloths, parrots, and other animals. This sanctuary now takes care of a Puma, twenty three margays, seven ocelots, and two jaguarundis, along with Squirrel monkeys, Capuchin monkeys, sloths, wild turkeys, scarlet macaws, and many more other animals.

HOT SPRINGS DAY TOUR

Springs Resort & Spa offers a Special Introductory Price of $50 for a Two Day Pass not only to the Hot Springs and Pools, but also to four Restaurants and five bars. A guided tour of their Wildlife Preserve which they call the “Cat Tour” is included in the Two Day Pass. This resort has been working closely with the MINAE (Ministry of the Environment and Energy) to save Costa Rican wildlife that has been confiscated from poachers. Some of their wildlife are donated by other private preserves or individuals.
