Location:

The hotel is very close to the Arenal Volcano, one of the area’s main attractions. The Yiguirro (pronounced GEE-gwee-ROH) is the newest, remote tree house offering privacy. It is set close to the back of the property. There is a very large wrap around deck in Yiguirro where you can spend some relaxing time and enjoy listening to the jungle track. You might be able to see some monkeys and toucans which often visit the tree house. In Yiguirro you will get two comfortable queen beds and also there is a window seat that can be converted to a twin bed. In this tree house there are plenty of rooms and features an open shower that will allow you to get more closer to the nature.

Toucan:

There are two levels in this tree house. On the main level you will get a double bed and the loft provides two small twin beds. The toucan tree house is ideal for those who want to enjoy a romantic getaway, family getaway or just have some personal time in a tranquil setting and enjoy exploring the beauty of the jungle and spot its wildlife from the deck of the Toucan.

In spite of being accommodated amid the jungle, you won’t feel isolated and you will have the opportunity to visit many places and find out more about Costa Rica with full support from the hotel’s staff. The retreat is located close to the 141 highway just before the town of Santa Clara, two hours from the San JoseAirport.

Activities:

You can find good affordable restaurants nearby and enjoy thrilling activities like safari, canoeing, rafting, ziplining, and hiking with the hotel’s nature guide Juan Carlos. There is also the possibility of doing night hike, during which the guide will show you and talk to you about nocturnal animals. You also have the opportunity to visit Nicaragua.
