Tortuguero is a village sided place in Costa Rica. Boat or plane are the mostly used way to reach there. If you start from Limón or Cariari then the closest routes are Moín and La Pavona respectively and to start from Caño Blanco you need to go through Siquirres.
Tortugero is often called the Venice and the Amazon of Costa Rica because of its navigable canals. Situating in the north-east area of the Limon province, Tortuguero is one of the main treasures of Costa Rica . The owners call their cuisine “California–Costa Rican fusion because of its lovely and tasty fusion menu. Fresh cooked food is one of their remarkable features. It serves different types of cuisine and is an ideal place for visiting with kids. You can visit this cafe for enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here, you can enjoy delicious foods with amazing view of the surroundings. The place is decorated with the touch of Caribbean culture. It is mainly a cafe for pizza and pasta but they also serve other cuisines. People highly recommend their pizzas that comes with two different sauces. Tortuguero Beach:
While you are in Tortuguero, you can go to the Tortuguero beach and enjoy watching green sea turtles comes and lays eggs or broken egg shells strewn across the pale Gainesboro sand. If you are in the right time, you may also get the opportunity to watch hatchlings making their first crawl towards the ocean. You can also spend some tranquil time relaxing by the ocean.
Tortuguero National Park:
