Located in the heart of Puerto Jimenez, on the Osa Peninsula (one of\u00a0 the most\u00a0bio-diverse places on the\u00a0planet),\u00a0Cacao Monkeys is an eco friendly and sustainable project. This hotel has\u00a0 3.5ha\u00a0of an intense secondary forest\u00a0and cocoa plantations including over\u00a025 years\u00a0of planting that is the residence of many different species of wild animals and birds. This hotel is working hard to developing the awareness of sustainable living and striving\u00a0to benefit the local community while leaving a minimal environmental footprint. Nature lovers and also those people who want to stay at an eco friendly place, and also want to enjoy beach activities they will find this beachfront hotel perfect for spending a memorable vacation.<\/p>\n

Bungalows:<\/h3>\n

This eco friendly project has 5 bungalows which are set in the center of the secondary forest and next to the Quebrada Ignacia, have three options for accommodations designed for families, groups of friends, or couples. All the bungalows are named after the\u00a0most common butterfly of the area and the four\u00a0species of\u00a0monkeys of Costa Rica. If you want to spend a vacation here with your family you will find the ‘Congo Bungalow and Cariblanco Bungalow’ that is especially designed for families and featured with two single beds and double bed. If you visit this place with a group of friends or partners you can choose ‘Titi Bungalow and Arana Bungalow’ that includes four single beds. For the couples ‘Morfo Bungalow’ is ideal and this bungalow has\u00a02 double beds. This bungalow also features a small living room and also has a totally equipped cooking area. Accommodation facility also include breakfast and hot drink at sunset. All of the guests will enjoy access to the hotel’s trails and ‘The Caiman Deck’ that is situated at the edge of the creek.<\/p>\n

Activities:<\/h3>\n

At the time of staying at Cacao Monkeys, you can go for exploring the area on horseback riding or hiking through the forest. You can also go for kayaking through the mangroves or take a bike tour.\u00a0The Osa Peninsula\u2019s Corcovado National Park and Pristine ocean environment offer great opportunities to enjoy unique wildlife and natural beauty. You can also go for bird watching tour and spot some of the different species of birds of this country. If you are a beach lover and want to enjoy water activities, you can go for snorkeling on coral reefs or can try recreational fishing. Nature lovers can visit Matapalo Waterfall or a botanical garden. You can also go for Gold-digging Tour or Cacao Tour and make your stay more enjoyable and memorable.<\/p>\n
