\"Laguna-Lodge\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Located in Tortuguero,\u00a0along the northern Caribbean Zone of Costa Rica, Laguna Lodge is an eco-touristic lodge. This lodge is nestled on\u00a0 fifteen acres of land including an open butterfly garden and different types of plants. Between Tortuguero\u00b4s main lagoon and the Caribbean Sea, the\u00a0lodge is built on a small strip of land, 650 feet wide. In the\u00a0entire Western half of the Caribbean, this region is the most\u00a0important nesting site\u00a0for the green sea turtle. The surrounding area has amazing lakes, rivers as well as wetlands that includes a primary forests with tropical plants. For its\u00a0infrastructure, friendly staff and its concern for nature and the community, this eco-touristic lodge has been\u00a0growing to become the leading hotel in the area since 1990. This lodge has direct access to the beach that makes it a perfect destination for the beach lovers.<\/p>\n

Accommodation:<\/h3>\n

\"Laguna\"<\/a>Laguna Lodge offers 100 rooms separated in\u00a0 blocks of 4 or 6 rooms equipped with all the basic amenities for enjoying a comfortable stay. All the rooms are spread in 6 acres area of the gardens. You will find the rooms are designed simply with natural touch.\u00a0These rooms are wooden and featured with a private bathroom, ceiling fan, hot water, and reading lamps. Outside of the rooms there are wooden\u00a0benches where you can sit and enjoy the amazing garden view.<\/p>\n

Conference room:<\/h3>\n

In this lodge you will also find a conference room,\u00a0reception and an exposition of typical handcrafts. Famous sculptures\u00a0Leda Astorga designed this room.<\/p>\n

Restaurants:<\/h3>\n

Decorated with rustic logs brought from the beach, the lodge restaurant is an open setting overlooking stunning view. This restaurant offers three delicious buffet meal times. All the foods are prepared by the lodge’s experienced chef.<\/p>\n

Bars<\/h3>\n

At the\u00a0river’s edge, with a deck over the water, the main bar of the lodge is situated. While enjoying a delicious drink at this bar, you will also enjoy the stunning view of the river and sunset. The construction of the bar is open so that the guests can enjoy watching the stunning river or garden view and also the gentle movement of the fish in \u00a0the water. You will also enjoy the natural harmony here which will make you experience a heavenly feeling.There are also two small bars from where you can enjoy drinks while swimming in the pools amidst the rainforest.<\/p>\n

Tortuguero National Park Canal Tour:<\/h4>\n

If you are a adventure lover you will like to go to this tour and you will enjoy the rich biodiversity of\u00a0flora and fauna in this ecosystem. With the help of a naturalist guide and an experienced boatman of the area you will explore different species of wild animals that stay at the National Park. You can also watch some of the 400 species of birds. The tour starts in the morning and you will enjoy for two hours.<\/p>\n

Botanical Garden:<\/h4>\n

If you want to explore the\u00a0complexity and beauty of the flora of the Caribbean, you can visit\u00a0the botanical garden of Laguna Lodge. Here you will find many types of plants and also know about some\u00a0 of the medicinal uses and commercial pharmaceutical products made from plants. Tortuguero Town Visit:<\/h4>\n

If you go to this tour, you will be able to gain some knowledge about the lifestyle of its people, their lifestyle and customs, history of this area, its culture and can visit the\u00a0town school, the National Park facilities, churches, stores, the recycling plant which is one of the most efficient plants in the country and the community center that houses the Symphonic Band project.
