Situated\u00a0on about 70 acres of primary and secondary forest, The Cloud Forest Lodge is a peaceful, quiet sanctuary in Monteverde. The surrounding area of this lodge is rich in biodiversity. While staying here you will get opportunity to visit different natural reserves and spot different types of wild animals.\u00a0While walking along over\u00a03 miles (5 km) of trails extend throughout the forested property, you will find different species of wild animals including\u00a0some 180 species of birds. At this resort you can enjoy spending some tranquil time. It offers outdoor accessibility and eco friendly environment.

Cloud Forest Lodge Facilities:<\/h3>\n

Lodge facilities include restaurant, bar, lounge area, private trails, laundry service, game room, parking, handicap accessible.<\/p>\n

Restaurant and Bar:<\/h3>\n

\"accommodation-cloud-forest-\"<\/a>Indulge in the impressive view of the cloud forest from your table in the restaurant which serves delicious Costa Rica dishes\u00a0including chicken, beef, fish, salads, soups, deserts and and many more. From breakfast to dinner, the restaurant remains open. Here you will enjoy\u00a0homemade bread and granola. It bar serves different types of cocktail, International and national drinks. While enjoying your drinks, you can\u00a0also enjoy watching stunning forest view and the amazing view of the Gulf of Nicoya. There is a reading area, next to the restaurant, furnished with sofas and surrounded by windows which let natural light enter the room. It is a perfect place to enjoy reading your favorite book or work on your computer or just spend some relaxed time with your family member.<\/p>\n

Accommodation:<\/h3>\n

Monteverde Cloud Forest Lodge offers\u00a0bungalow types rooms which are large, clean, comfortable, and has homely like environment. In all the rooms you will find\u00a0 private bath with hot water and a patio where you can appreciate the quiet beauty of our surrounding gardens and forest. Decorated with bright and natural colors, wood panel covered ceiling and wall and tile floors that keep the room environment pleasant and cool. These rooms are featured with\u00a0single or double beds and also feature a private terrace and for providing\u00a0real mountain-hotel experience, all the rooms are kept simple but with the balance of comfort and natural touch. All the rooms include a patio overlooking amazing natural beauty of the surrounding gardens and forest. There are also handicap rooms that include special bathrooms and ramps.<\/p>\n

Activities:<\/h3>\n

The Original Canopy Tour<\/h4>\n

You can experience The Original Canopy Tour\u00a0with a short, guided hike through the private 70-acre reserve of the Cloud Forest. While flying\u00a0through the treetops you will also get opportunity to listen closely for the vast variety of birds as well as exploring the beauty of the rainforest. The tour\u00a0begins at 7:30 am, 10:30 am and 2:30 pm and lasts\u00a0between 2 and 2.5 hours depending upon group size and needs.<\/p>\n

Trails:<\/h4>\n

In its\u00a030 hectares (about 75 acres) of forest\u00a05 kms of private trails where you can find more than 180 species of birds. You can go for a morning or night walk and\u00a0as you walk threw our Trails, you might discover beautiful sights\u00a0experience, true magic of nature.<\/p>\n

You can also go for a trip to the butterfly and orchid gardens or the Monteverde Cheese Factory where you can also learn about the\u00a0region\u2019s cultural history and try a sampling of local cheeses and ice cream.<\/p>\n
