\"El-Toucant-Lodge\"<\/a><\/p>\n

El Toucanet, a rustic lodge, is situated in the south central region of Costa Rica. Located close to the Santa Maria de Dota, this\u00a0lodge is nestled in a comfortable setting and while staying here you will enjoy panoramic views. People who like to enjoy bird watching, they will find the surrounding area of the lodge paradise as it is set close to some renowned bird watching location where over 200 species of birds are listed here. This lodge is situated in the valley of Copey De Dota that is the heart of the Los Santos Forest Reserve and home to the Cerro Las Vueltas Biological Reserve and the Los Quetzales National Park. Its location makes this lodge ideal for the nature lovers. The cloud forest is full of moss, oak trees and bromeliads that will make you feel the interconnection with the nature.<\/p>\n

Facilities:<\/h3>\n

Developed in 1996, El Toucanet Lodge is run by a family and it is\u00a0\"bird-watching\"<\/a>still providing great facilities including comfortable accommodation, delicious meals, and organizing many types of activities which make the vacation memorable. It is able to host\u00a0exclusivity small sized groups.<\/p>\n

Accommodation:<\/h3>\n

El Toucanet Lodge provides spacious rooms which are very comfortable and clean and featured with private bath with hot water, private terrace where you can get relaxed as well as enjoy the surrounding beauty. These rooms also have large windows\u00a0through which the guests will also enjoy amazing farm and forest views. You will fins\u00a0two roomy junior suites that are very private and include\u00a0king size bed, hot water, Jacuzzi, Wi-Fi, silverware, fireplace, small refrigerator,\u00a0coffee maker, plates, also large windows for enjoying spectacular sunrise, rainbows and garden views.<\/p>\n

In the lodge property you will find a restaurant that serves home made healthy and delicious meals including freshly baked trout collected from a trout farm of neighbor. You will also find typical Costa Rican dishes.\u00a0All the meals are prepared with\u00a0 fresh ingredient which are collected from the region. If you follow any special diet, you can ask for it.<\/p>\n

Activities:<\/h3>\n

While staying in this lodge you will get many opportunities to enjoy a variety of activities including short hike, coffee tour, and many other adventure tour. You can start you day by going for a walk and spot Wood Quails announcing first light. If you are a early risers you can enjoy the coffee that\u00a0produced from the region of Dota is on around 6:00am. With the sup of coffee you can spend some tranquil time on the lodge terrace and watch the\u00a0the first birds of the day in nearby trees and gardens at the same time. Lodge offers free\u00a0quetzal guided tour which start at 7:00 walking from the lodge in hunt\u00a0hunt for the Resplendent Quetzal and also many other species of birds and you can also enjoy this tour.<\/p>\n
