It was founded in 1999 and since then it has gained immense popularity among locals and foreigners alike. Iguana Expeditions is well known for its high quality services, professionalism and a tourist oriented, cordial environment. The camp offers tours to various towns in Costa Rica as well as in Southwestern Nicaragua. In Costa Rica, their office is located in \"IguanaPlaya Guiones, in Nosara, a charming surfer’s town in the Guanacaste Province. There is no doubt that Nosara <\/a>is one of the best places to learn surfing but it has a lot more to offer. You can try out hiking, sand up paddling, waterfall trekking, river kayaking, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, turtle tours, Eco walks, mountain biking, horseback riding and plenty of more things. At Iguana Expeditions and Surf School, you will be provided with all the surf gear you need along with other sports equipment such as for kayaking and SUP. They have a nice accommodation by the name of The Gilded Iguana Hotel & Beach Resort where guests are lodged at. For meals and drinks, guests will find several bars and restaurants close by the camp. Iguana Surf School and Surf Shop<\/h4>\n

Iguana Expeditions and Surf School conducts surf lessons in the best surf beaches of Costa Rica. Playa Guiones is a perfect platform for surfers of all skills including newbies and beginners. During their stay, students will visit various other surf breaks such as Playa Grande, Tamarindo, Langosta, Avellanas, Negra, Junquillal, Lagarto, Azul, San Juanillo, Ostional, Nosara, Pelada, Guiones, Garza, Barrigona, Buena Vista, Samara and Carrillo. These surf trips offer up a wide variety of breaks and students make faster progress. Also, the trips are super fun as they enable guests to do plenty of sightseeing, exploration and new activities. Students are provided with surfboards and other equipment during the lessons. Private, semi private and group lessons are available.<\/p>\n

The guests are accommodated in The Gilded Iguana Hotel and Beach Resort, a beautiful lodging in Playa Guiones. It has 12 beautifully furnished units for the guests.
