\"Piedras<\/a><\/p>\n

Piedras Blancas National Park is situated along the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica.\u00a0Remote and relatively untouched, this is the place to go to view wildlife and primary tropical rainforest.\u00a0Previously it was a part of the famous Corcovado National Park. Known as Las Esquinas, it was adjacent to two other protected areas-\u00a0\u00a0the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve to the west and\u00a0Golfito National Wildlife Refuge to the east.<\/p>\n

Sustainability:<\/h3>\n

\"waterfall\"<\/a>In this park, there are many waterfalls and also some seriously striking beaches. For snorkeling and swimming there are excellent places provided by many unsoiled coral reefs. At this area annually over 200 inches rain fall.\u00a0One of the most satisfying ways to get to know the area\u2019s many snorkeling coves is via kayak but you should be sure to check the tides and weather before departure.<\/p>\n

Surroundings:<\/h3>\n

There are many rare trees in many shapes and forms and also there many species of animals. You can spot toucans, scarlet macaws, over 53 species of bats, coatis, kinkajous, spider monkeys,\u00a0white-faced capunchin as well as the two-toed sloth and anteater. This park is also home to different species of colorful birds and you will enjoy bird watching in this location.<\/p>\n

\"wild<\/a>If you go for a Piedras Blancas night tour, you can explore the amazing beauty of the surrounding area from a nocturnal animal view. You will be accompanied by experience guides who will lead you to find out many wild creatures in the park and even you will be bale to find the insects which usually can not be seen during the day.<\/p>\n

Experience the marine life:<\/h3>\n

If you want to enjoy the marine life like sea turtles, tropical fish and ray, then the beaches around the Piedras Blancas park are delightful locations. Morning is the best time to enjoy the marine life and you can hire a guide who will take you to some of the best diving spots of the area.<\/p>\n

The way to the Park:<\/h3>\n

For reaching the park, from the San Jose, you can take the\u00a0Inter-american highway south through San Pedro and Cartago. After reaching San Isidro de El General, you will have to follow the sign toward Dominical and from there go to the Southern Highway to Palmar Norte. you will get back on the Inter american highway until Rio Claro. Then turn right to Golfito.<\/p>\n

Where to stay:<\/h3>\n

There are a number of\u00a0luxurious eco-lodges mesh effortlessly with the greenery in and around Piedras Blancas National Park. There are a\u00a0handful of solar powered and self sustainable resorts which can only be accessible by boat.
