Palo Verde National Park<\/h3>\n

\"Palo<\/a>If you came to Costa Rica to see wildlife, Palo Verde National Park\u00a0is not to be missed.\u00a0Palo Verde National Park, one of the best wildlife and bird watching spots in Costa Rica,\u00a0was declared a Wildlife Refuge during the 1970s because of over 60 different species of birds used the Laguna, or wetland, as a migratory stop. It’s a\u00a0truly enjoyable encounter up close with Costa Rican wildlife. You will be able to see\u00a0long nose bats sleeping on a tree, abundance of different birds,\u00a0capuchin monkeys, many igauanas, white face and howler monkeys,\u00a0Jesus Christ lizards and a multitude of American crocodiles. Famous\u00a0for large populations of heron, stork, egrets, spoonbills, ibis, ducks and greets,\u00a0Palo Verde National Park\u00a0is home to more than 300 bird species.\u00a032,266 acre (13,058 ha) Palo Verde National Park is home of a\u00a0vast network of mangrove-rich swamp, marshes, lagoons,\u00a0grassland, limestone outcrops, and forests.\u00a0Palo Verde forms part of the Tempisque Conservation Area.<\/p>\n

Rincon de la Vieja National Park<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"Rincon<\/a>Rincon de la Vieja\u00a0National Park, considered as\u00a0a still relatively undiscovered gem of the Costa Rica. This park includes pristine tropical forests and amazing volcanoes. This park is well worth a visit.\u00a0The park is very nice and large – it’s a forest and the tracks are not large, although quite visible – no risk of getting lost. This is one of the very few parks\u00a0with many volcanic features and great trails. There are nice hiking trails, variety of wildlife,\u00a0the fumaroles, a lot of Mammals,\u00a0small crater with sulfuric vapors, the acidic pond and the bubbling mudholes. But some of the most exiting things about the part area include thermal mud pools, freshwater lakes and wonderful waterfall swimming areas.<\/p>\n

Santa Rosa National Park<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"Santa<\/a>Santa Rosa, originally a farm located in the north-western\u00a0Guanacaste Province, is home to Costa Rica’s most famous monument.\u00a0Santa Rosa potects the most important example of protected dry forest of Central America. The Historical Museum at La Casona in Santa Rosa National Park contains exhibit rooms with antiquities and information and specimens from around the ACG.\u00a0This is one of the very few places which have a lot of nature and history a great combination.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The diversity of animals<\/a> that can be seen is huge.\u00a0The park has two camping areas.\u00a0\u00a0You can see birds, monkeys, and deer.\u00a0The remote white-sand beaches of Blanco Beach are situated 16 km beyond the entrance of the park. It is an amazing place for bird watching. There are ten habitats which not only includes savannas, consisting of jaragua grassland and various trees such as the live oak, but also shoemaker’s tree and rough-leaf tree.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
