Coast can be reached in about 90 minutes and we are 20 minutes from the airport. For guests that want to explore the capital city of San Jose it is just 40 kilometers away (about 27 miles).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Directions From The International Airport:\u00a0<\/strong>Take highway 1 north in the direction towards San Ramon. The first large highway sign you&#8217;ll see (from the airport going north) indicates Alajuela to the right and San Ramon straight ahead. Don&#8217;t take the Alajuela turnoff! \u00a0We are in the Province of Alajuela which covers a huge area.\u00a0Driving about 22 kms. (15 + &#8211; minutes) you have passed 3 bridges. The 3rd bridge (known as the Raphael Iglesias bridge).\u00a01\/2 mile beyond that bridge is our turn off.
