Here, change the bus that is heading to La Fortuna via Chachagua. Get down in San Isidro de Penas Blancas<\/p>\n<p><strong>By car from San Jose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Driving from San Jose go north to San Ramon via the Pan American Highway. Upon the exit of the highway turn right then drive straight until the last stop sign from here turn left. Turn right immediately at traffic light. Keep driving on the left hand side for about 2 kilometres. While driving on the hill, you will go over a speed bump, at your right is a small school, go over another speed bump take a left turn at the Y intersection. That&#8217;s the road to La Fortuna. Drive north on this road for an hour &#8211; until you arrive at a single lane suspension bridge over the Penas Blancas river.<\/p>\n<p>Lookout for a Church and cemetery on your left &#8211; two kilometres after the bridge. After driving 150 meters from the cemetery take a left, this leads to a rock road (spot the Texas A&amp;M sign on your right hand, right across the street). Drive 2.3 kilometres west into the jungle whilst being on the right until you see the intersections.
