There is only one road all the way to Limon (about 2.5 hours drive). Once at Limon continue past cemeteries you will start to arrive into a more populated area. In Manzanillo turn right at the Texaco gas station. The next sign says Cahuita, turn left here, cross a bridge continue on. Turn left again at the next (and last) gas station keep following the road. Drive through the little town of Hone Creek untill the road bends to the right around a big hardware store called Colono. Don&#8217;t turn right but continue on straight, keep following this road past Puerto Viejo, Cocles, Playa Chiquita, Punta Uva \u00a0then just before you enter Manzanillo you will see a sign for Congo Bongo on your left hand side. Two hundred yards further there is a road that turns right. A sign says Long Rd. Enter this road, turn right again after five hundred yards and another four hundred yards down this one will take you to your destination.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/costaricajourneys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/download.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/costaricajourneys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/download-300x66.jpg\" alt=\"Caribbean Hotel\" width=\"300\" height=\"66\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2715\" srcset=\"https:\/\/costaricajourneys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/download-300x66.jpg 300w, https:\/\/costaricajourneys.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/download.jpg 477w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><strong>From San Jose (alternative route):<\/strong> In the rare case the highway is closed off, from San Jose you drive to Cartago. There you follow the 42 to Turrialba. After passing Turrialba follow Siquirres\/Limon follow the signs to Limon drive as above. It will take a little longer but is well worth the trip.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Air: <\/strong>Look for daily flights to Limon on websites from national airlines (below). From the airstrip in Limon it is a 1.5 hour ride to Manzanillo.\u00a0We advise you to book your ticket to and from Limon in advance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Shuttle Bus: <\/strong>Shuttlebus companies like Interbus and Greyline have daily rides to and from all destinations in Costa Rica.
