At 20 km you will pass the exit to Puntarenas you will then see station and a turn off for Sardinal and Monteverde, Santa Elena. Keep going on the paved road until you reach the town of \u201cGuacimal\u201d, from there on another 20 km of gravel road to Monteverde. This will last you between 3.5 to 4 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FROM LIBERIA:<\/strong> Now take the Panamerican highway south. Take an exit when you get to the turnoff for Ca\u00f1as take the road to Tilar\u00e1n. Once there, cross the whole town (1km) find a sign for Monteverde. Keep going on the\u00a0gravel road to Monteverde, about 45km.
