Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Owned and managed by the native Rojas Bonilla clan, the old fashioned and rustic charm exuding Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge is an aggregation of outstanding natural experiences with friendly service and sustainable tourism. The lodge is predominantly an ecological farm that has devotedly adhered to strict practices in sustainable development along with fastidious conservation policies for many years together. Nestled at a convenient distance of just 10 minutes from the buzzing La Fortune town center (filled with restaurants, bars and shops), a spectacular milky white waterfall and the area\u2019s much visited hot springs; the tranquil eco lodge is as popular for its sustainable features as for its rustically elegant natural aura and unpretentious appeal. Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge caters more to visitors who seek a homey, warm and personalized holiday experience in an innately family style setting, without the trademark frills of some of the bigger eco resorts. This is a minimalist, unassuming and authentic back to nature property that allows patrons to witness the Costa Rican landscape by sticking as much to its real goal (of conservation and sustainability) as it can.<\/p>\n

Activities and Amenities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Arenal-Oasis\"<\/a>Arenal Oasis\u2019s guests can experience the bountiful natural beauty of this region by participating in a variety of nature and adventure based tours in the lodge\u2019s own premises as well as in the adjoining areas. \u00a0Some of the most sought after recreational pursuits here are bird watching tours and night walks in the jungle (to catch glimpses of the forest\u2019s most fascinating nocturnal wildlife creatures such as reptiles, insects and a variety of amphibians). The main attraction of these nocturnal jungle tours is the highly unusual and interesting Frog Song experience (through which visitors can gain knowledge about the fascinating natural history and evolution of the region\u2019s nocturnal frogs). Apart from these popular tours, guests can also enjoy an invigorating natural history walk to the butterfly garden, among several other stopovers, to witness a wide range of trails comprising insect, frog, snake and lizard stations.<\/p>\n

In addition to this, Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge also organizes nature\/adventure trips within the surrounding regions including a Volcano hiking trip (to allow visitors a firsthand experience of the imposing looking Arenal Volcano), a unique Canoe, Kayak or Raft Safari Float tour on the idyllic waters of the Arenal and Penas Blancas rivers, a tour of the ecologically thriving Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge (that houses a huge assortment of indigenous and migratory birds), a thrilling Hanging Bridges Tour (for enjoying a splendid \u2018view from the top\u2019 from 15 mid air suspended bridges), a exploratory tour of the \u2018cast away\u2019 Venado Caves and a adventurous hike to Cerro Chato. Visitors who get enjoy getting their occasional adrenaline gush can indulge in white water rafting on the Sarapiqui River or take a horseback ride to the spectacular La Fortuna Waterfall or even participate in a Tironlias Canopy Tour.<\/p>\n

Arenal Oasis\u2019 in-house facilities comprise a lush wildlife refuge, an almost surreal and fantasy-like butterfly garden and tropical garden, a classy Mi Tierrita Restaurant (featuring a typical Costa Rican menu that also has a few international fusion food touches).\u00a0 The Aura Spa is located about 250 meters from the main lodge premises and provides a wide range of relaxing wellness treatments such as body wraps, skin care services, hydrotherapy, massages, depilation and a number of other therapeutic packages.<\/p>\n

Accommodation and Room Prices<\/strong><\/p>\n

Arenal Oasis\u2019s accommodation options comprise five innately rustic looking, yet comfortable, elegant and spacious back to nature cabinas. Four out of the five cabinas are in form of a bungalow, while one is a bigger and plusher villa style structure (more suited for accommodating families and small groups). The relaxing and casual bungalow style cabinas come with a private bathroom (with hot water and a restful tub), a hair dryer and a ceiling fan. In addition to this, extra services in the form of laundry, transportation, tourist information and spirit revitalizing massages can also be made available to guests.<\/p>\n

Double occupancy in a bungalow style cabana can put you back by $ 75 USD during high season. Similarly, quadruple occupancy at the plush Villa style cabana (with a breathtaking garden view) is charged at $ 105 USD.<\/p>\n
