Emitting a ‘rustic sophistication’ combines with eco-tourism values appeal, Finca Exotica, true to its fancy name is a luxury property set amidst Osa’s isolated beaches and its much touted tropical rainforests. Tours and Amenities

Finca Exotica hosts a large selection of activities for its guests to introduce them to the magnificent natural beauty of Osa.  Nature lovers can enjoy a self-guided hike through the jungle or go bird watching at the crack of dawn or even volunteer to participate in one of Finca Exotica’s sustainable activities. Other popular pursuits in the region include a hike along Corcovado National Park or other rainforest zones that feature attractive topographical features such as waterfalls, secluded beaches and picturesque rivers. Adventure junkies have a platter to choose from –they can indulge in everything from surfing to swimming to kayaking and boogie barding. Less intrepid tourists can enjoy a picnic on the beach or simply place themselves of relaxing hammocks.  There are horseback tours, half day waterfall ridge trips and nature walks for helping guests unwind the backdrop of Finca’s spectacular surroundings.

Finca Exotica’s amenities are a heady blend of comfort, luxury and understated elegance. They conduct regular yoga sessions and revitalizing massage therapies. Apart from this, there is a well stocked library that holds a good collection of nature focused literature. There is an in-house pool, an indoor games room and a badminton court within the lodge’s premises. Music lovers can take to the mariamba, shakers and drums housed in a music room. In keeping with the exotica in its name, Finca Exotica also organizes art workshops, pottery sessions, body painting classes, sketching, wooden toy carving and bamboo building workshops.  Other features of the lodge include a lofty yoga platform, which can accommodate up to 24 people, a medication zone, a scenic vistas offering rancho and an outdoor lounge that combines good food, good music and often interesting conversations.

Accommodation

Finca Exotica offers accommodations in the form of unusually hand-made jungle style cabinas. They look rustic, exotic and a yet sport a functional charm and elegant appeal. Tiki Tents offer a more authentic back-to-nature experience. The spacious two-storey rancho is fully equipped with a bathroom, a convenient solar fridge and a complete kitchen facility. The Rancho Cabin is more preferred by families and honeymooning couples. Jungle Tiki Tents are equipped with a queen bed or two twin beds. These tents are sprawled across Finca Exotica’s lush garden. Most Jungle Tiki Tents come with a private open air shower, whereas others have a communal bathhouse. Cabinas are more geared for accommodating groups, with their queen bed/ single beds, fresh floral decorations, candle lit ambiance, mosquito net, private toilet and an open-air shower zone.

Room Rates

High season prices for a couple for a stay at one of the Cabinas is $ 125 USD/ per person for a single night and for Tiki Tents it is $ 80 USD per person per night. Rates include 3 meals, juices and straight off the garden fresh fruits.
