Cocolores

Set close to the water-edge of Montezuma, Cocolores is a renowned beach-front restaurant in Costa Rica. With its cozy environment, romantic decoration, intimate music and obviously delicious food, this restaurant is a perfect place for enjoying romantic dinner. While enjoying your food, you will feel the gentle breeze from the turquoise waves rising and ebbing rhythmically. Established in 2000, this place is also perfect for families and friends. It is a great place to kick back after spending a long busy day in trekking to the waterfalls or riding off into the mountains. Sitting on your table, you will just feel exotic, exactly what you want to experience in a tropical beach setting. Thatch ceiling, colorful lanterns hanging from above makes the place more pleasant.

This intimate little restaurant feature only 12 tables so if you want to avoid waiting in long lines, it would be better to arrive early. Owned by Florencia and Massimiliano, Cocolores offers a unique selection of Mexican, Thai, Italian and Greek food and also many other International cuisine. You will also find the touch of Tico-fusion and French influence in their delicious dishes.

They serve the best cerviche (also spelled ‘cebiche’ or ‘seviche’) in town. This dish is prepared with raw fish, marinated and seasoned with tangy citrus juice, and spiced with herbs peppers, onion, and salt. Mahi-mahi, shark, and even marlin too is used for making this yummy dish. You can also enjoy amazing steak here. They also offers delicious banana and coconut curries prepared with fish or chicken and for sides you will enjoy chutneys, mashed potatoes and fruits.
