Clandestina Restaurant

Set hidden in the jungle close to the famous waterfalls of Montezuma, Clandestina Restaurant was established in March 2015. This restaurant serves mostly organic, vegan and gluten-free dishes. After exploring amazing waterfalls, you can spend some relaxed time at this amazing restaurant. Located in the Montezuma Butterfly gardens, this place is popular among the locals as well as the tourists.

Owners of this restaurant Bryan and Phoebe Swett, a Costa Rican and North Westerner has 18 years of experience in restaurant industry. For establishing Clandestina Restaurant, they invited a trained chef, Chris Ericsen from Portland, Oregon who is also their long time friend. With lot of love, passion and blending of flavors, they made this place inside the Mariposario.

Sitting on the jungle balcony enjoy some delicious daily changing street style taco specials. You can also try delectable chicken mole enchiladas. Vegetarians will love their chilles rellenos or lentil cakes. Seafood lovers can try fresh fried fish like sea catfish that is served in homemade corn tortillas.
