Instructions for First Time Jumpers

The jump is approximately 9,000 feet high, after which you will experience a thrilling 30 seconds of freefall, followed by 5 to 8 minutes long of serene or a wild ride. Once in the air, you will be greeted by a spectacular view of the ocean, mountains, rain forests, rivers and other Costa Rican natural wonders. Please note that you have to be 18 years or older to participate. If you have a heart condition or are taking any medications, you cannot jump. Maximum weight is 95 kgs. To skydive, no previous experience is required.

Equipment

To give you a safe and ultimate skydiving experience, Costa Rica Tropical Skydiving uses the latest technology. All the equipment have AADs (Automatic Activation Devices) which means that the rigs have tiny computers that will automatically deploy the reserve in case the students or instructors fails to do this for any reason.

Airplanes

Costa Rica Tropical Skydiving uses the airplanes from Aerobell Air Charter Company and Aerocaribe. They are one of the best aircraft companies in Costa Rica. The air crafts are excellently maintained, are regularly inspected and are up to date.
